2D single-use bags are used for handling small quantities of liquids ranging from 250 mL to 50 L. Uniflex's 2D single-use bags are manufactured using multilayer films based on various resin materials. UNIFLEX provides customized solutions for ports and assemblies (including tubes, pinch clamps, connectors, filters, etc.) according to customer requirements and can also manufacture them in a hanging configuration if needed.
3D single-use bags are used for more complex applications and handling larger liquid capacities. Based on customer requirements, Cellbase can produce 3D single-use bags in sizes of up to 1,000 L. The design of the 3D single-use bags is created as three-dimensional cuboids using multilayer films. These bags can be manufactured for large disposable storage and transportation systems, disposable mixing systems, and disposable stirred bioreactors.
Liner bags are used to form a barrier between the pharmaceutical contents and the container walls or similar environments that store them. They are employed in pharmaceutical manufacturing processes that require mixing operations, such as buffer preparation or the addition and dissolution of large quantities of solid materials.
Additionally, we can provide customized liner bags tailored to the specific needs of our customers' liner tanks, with adjustments to connector types, port locations, tube lengths, and other features for ease of use.
Uniflex's magnetic levitation mixer bag introduces an innovative solution to the biopharmaceutical market, preventing film wear from the impeller and damage from magnetic bearings. Based on the magnetic levitation principle, the mixer bag features an impeller that is suspended in mid-air—without contacting the surface of the single-use bag—and driven by a magnetic field. This design enables the gentle mixing of sensitive liquids used in pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
This device is designed to enable precise and safe sampling from bioreactors or cultivation bags. The sampling manifold is comprised of multiple ports (sampling points), allowing for the safe extraction of various samples from a single system. It is designed as a closed system to minimize external contamination during sample extraction, typically utilizing technologies such as aseptic connectors or single-use ports. Additionally, it is engineered to be compatible with SUB systems, using standardized connectors to enhance compatibility.
Single-Use Assembly refers to a customized system designed by combining single-use components to perform specific tasks or processes. It is primarily used in pharmaceutical and biotechnology production processes, playing a crucial role in enhancing flexibility and efficiency. Various single-use components, such as tubing, filters, bags, sensors, and connectors, can be integrated to handle specific processes, and they can be custom-made according to process requirements.
